"Mitch has been my agent for around a decade. When I was in a traffic accident caused by a driver turning left across lanes on highway 126 while they were looking at their phone, Mitch told me that I needed to drive slower to not cause accidents. He lacks empathy towards his clients. I’m just done with this man as my agent and will continue to use State Farm for my insurance."

When other insurance carriers evaluate their liability, because Oregon is a comparative negligence state, it’s not uncommon for them to claim our driver could have done something to avoid the accident claiming their driver was not 100% at fault. Our goal is to facilitate the claims process on our side by connecting customers to claims and provide support through the claims process. We also try to educate our customers about comparative negligence in Oregon and how it might impact their insurance. I’m sorry you felt unsupported but I want you to know I never intended to dismiss the way this accident impacted you or assign responsibility for the accident to you. "The reason that I called was not something Jeanette could do immediately. She let me know it would be about a half an hour to process it then she would get back to me by email. She got ahold of me exactly how and when she said she would. I was not left waiting for even a minute. When I called Jeanette to let her know I got the email, she answered the phone by addressing me by name. That made me feel great inside. When we spoke on the phone this second time, I had questions about what the breakdown of my policy meant. Jeanette explained each section until I fully comprehended. She even compared sections against others to contrast them so I knew their differences. In over 15 years of having auto insurance never once did I understand what everything was on my policy. It felt to me as if she was honestly connected with me and wanted me to know the information. She had no rush to get off of the phone. Jeanette’s only goal was in helping me understand. Her clarity helped me make my choice of what to keep on my policy and what to lower the coverage on. She has since called me back to let me know that it will cost me less than what was quoted. I had planned to go in person to figure out if the discount was applied. It was a pleasant surprise that she called to let me know that it was applied. Jeanette has a genuine personality that comes through in each of our exchanges. She does what she says she will. It feels to me that she is comfortable speaking with customers and knows how to handle their questions. She takes care of business is a thoughtful and caring manner that makes me feel not only taken care of but like I can call back if I need to and she would give me the exact same service again and again.
